In order to
process your booking with the maximum of
efficiency, please read the following information
carefully and follow all of the instructions.
Check
availability, then download & print the BOOKING FORM (MS Word document).
Complete it, sign and post it to us at the
address below with your deposit of 30% (or full
payment if under 6 weeks until your arrival date
- 8 weeks if overseas). This is your contract,
and a booking cannot be accepted without it. (NOTE - It
is advisable to confirm availability by e-mail or phone before
booking.)
Alternatively,
telephone us and we will send you a form through
the post.

The Booking
is for the use of the property from 4pm
on the agreed date of arrival to 10am on
the agreed date of departure. The changeover day is
Saturday, except when a short break is
booked. At Christmas and New Year, the changeover day is
flexible to accommodate the holiday. Short breaks are
normally not available between 3 July and 2 September. A
booking is regarded as complete only when we have
received the completed booking form, together with the
appropriate payment, and you have received confirmation
from us. A booking fee is not charged. Any provisional
bookings can only be held for 5 working days. If the
booking form and payment is received within that time,
then the booking is complete. PLEASE NOTE: A maximum number of 4
people (this includes any children over 1 year old), plus
a baby under 1 year old can be accepted on a booking.
No bookings
are acceptable from persons under 21 years of age, or
from stag or hen parties.
All bed linen
and towels are provided. A baby's travel cot and high
chair are available on request.
30% Deposit
should be sent with your booking form, with the balance
payable six weeks prior to your arrival (eight weeks if
outside the UK). Deposit can be by Cheque, Credit/Debit Card, Postal Order
or Bank Draft. (Credit/Debit Card or Foreign bank draft only from outside the
UK in GBP Sterling.)
Rental payment
is for the hire of the property (you are not charged per
person). The rent includes all heating, electricity, bed linen and
towels.
The agreed Rent must be paid in full not less than 6
weeks before the start of your holiday (8 weeks if
outside the UK). No reminder will be sent. For bookings
made within 6 weeks of your holiday start date, the full
rental is due at time of booking`.
 
How to pay if you
live in the UK

fee of 3.5% will be added to the total for this service

payable to Robin Davey sent by registered mail
- We regret that we cannot accept
cheques drawn on an overseas bank account
Cancellation Policy
You are advised to have your own Holiday Insurance to
cover this eventuality. If you cancel your booking, the following
charges will apply.
Cancellation notice more than 12 weeks before arrival will incur a
charge of 10% of the full rental cost.
Cancellation notice between 12 weeks and 6 weeks before arrival will
incur a charge of 30% of the full rental cost.
Cancellation notice of less than 6 weeks before arrival will incur a
charge of 100% of the full rental cost.
Full refunds will only be made in the
event that the property becomes unavailable for any
reason such as fire, tempest, flood etc. and in such
case the proprietor's liability is limited to refund of
any deposit and rent paid. If any other unforeseen circumstance arises
causing the proprietor to cancel then liability is also limited to any
monies paid in advance.
Damage to the
property
We accept that accidents happen, and we do not
charge for a broken cup or glass, but please let us know
so we can replace it for the next tenant. In the event of
more serious damage, the hirer shall be liable for the
cost of any damage to the property or the contents
therein during the rental period. We reserve the right to
enter the property (with or without prior notice) should
any emergencies arise. Loss of a key will result in a charge being
made to change the lock.
Your vehicles
and their contents are left entirely at your own risk
while parked either on or outside the property. We shall
not be responsible for any loss or damage from or to any
vehicle, its accessories or contents.
We operate a no
smoking and no pets policy in
order to keep the cottage as fresh as possible.
Liability
We do not accept liability for any damage, expense,
injury, death or loss of any description sustained by any
person or persons either on or off the property.
